Testimonies From a Seed Ministry Mission Trip In June 2006

Testimonies from the South Fork

“What He does in time He planned from eternity. And all that He planned in eternity, He carries out in time.”

My time in Tamale was brief, but long enough for God to reveal Himself through the work that is being accomplished here.

I have had the privilege of participating in many mission trips, but have never experienced the outpouring of God’s love as I have here. From every village visited to every “toffee” handed out is done out of pure unselfish love. I cannot wait to see what God is going to do through Seed Ministry in the future. I know without doubt it will bring glory to “His” name. Thank you Seed Ministry for allowing me to come and share in this wonderful ministry.

God has shown Himself through the faces of the children of Tamale. Their eyes say ‘we love you for traveling thousands of mile just to share Christ with us’. I was broken when a group of children sang to me from the village of Kpinchilla. It was God’s love I saw that day. Praise God for the experience.

Goats, Sheep and Guineas, Oh My! This  was a 2 years prayer journey to Ghana. Bob and Bonnie came to our church and shared what Seed Ministry is doing and challenged us to pray for them. From there we started collecting money for a church building in Galenshegu.

Upon their arrival to our church for the second time, they asked us to come. God prepared the way and I was at peace, at once.

Where is my ticket? After lots of preparation, we are here. I could not believe all the love that poured out from the people in the villages, schools and especially from the workers at Seed Ministry. I felt at home and I was allowed the opportunity to see lives changed, including mine. I came to change Ghana and I was changed also. Bob and Bonnie are being led by the Holy Spirit of God.  Because of that, Tamale is being changed. Amen.

The song, Change My Heart Oh God, prepared me every morning for the challenges for the day. In turn, Bob and Bonnie and the workers at Seed Ministry are changing lives everyday.

If you want to see Jesus, come to Ghana and look in the eyes of the children and their smiles.

I really did not know what to expect, coming to Ghana. But I knew the Lord was wanting me to come. I knew the children would impact my life in various ways. I also knew there would be a culture shock traveling from the U.S. to Ghana. What I did not expect was how much I would grow spiritually. While working with the kids and adults doing puppetry, interpretative movement, songs, and games, I became closer to God than I ever have before. I came expecting to bless the people of Tamale. As I leave, I realize how much the
people of Tamale have blessed me.

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”
