Great Is Thy Faithfulness.

Remember the old song that said, “What a day for a daydream”? What about a day for living your dream? I think that is most everyday for us as we minister in Ghana. Every morning is fresh with excitement about what the Lord is going to do today.

We praise Him as we watch Him work. Already this week – and today is only Tuesday –

  • We have seen Him baptize 27 people.
  • Suzy is finally feeling better again and going with Randy into villages to share Christ with others.
  • Peter is packing to prepare to leave for University.
  • We are buying and preparing food to feed the anticipated one hundred pastors for Larry and Jay as they come Sunday to lead the Jirandogo Pastors Conference next week and then the Wale-Wale Pastors Conference the following week.
  • Getting the ‘sound rooms’ set up in preparation for Jesse to pick up on the recordings. That in itself is another praise. God gave Jesse the vision to  record “The God’s Story” in all 86 (I think) Ghanaian languages. He was telling us he only has 18 left to record! What a blessing these recordings are and what a praise to God that Jesse and the translators have persevered and given so much of their time to do this.
  • There is also the general buzz in the air as students prepare to start classes again this week.
  • Of course one of our biggest praises is you. As you read this know that we praise God for you all the time. It is your support and your prayers before the Lord for us that allow us to be a part of all this.

Our praises just go on and on. I know you have as many or more things that you are praising for as well. So when you read this, lift up a THANK YOU to God. His mercy and His grace says it all.

Lamentations 3:22-23 22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
